Bachelor Mountain Bike Instructor For four years (2018-2021) I was a mountain bike instructor for Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon. Coaching advanced level downhill mountain biking requires a unique skill set including years of experience with this extreme sport, as well as being able to act as a coach, mentor, and leader in a competitive environment. With this job, I was helping athletes improve performance, endurance, and avoid injuries through repetitive skills and strength training on and off the downhill courses. I grew up snowboarding and riding with a team of amazing athletes and friends. Eventually, I had the opportunity to travel around the United States and compete in various snowboard competitions.
